Jaja. Nu ska den här supermamman fortsätta jobba…

I completely lost it yesterday. Sally decided to stay awake for three hours in the middle of the night and that just drained my body from patience. I screamed. ”FALL ASLEEP FOR F**K’S SAKE”. Followed by the worst crying session Sally ever had. Not difficult to understand her reaction, she probably thought her mom suddenly turned into a monster. Then I had to wake up Odd and tell him this lack of sleep is making me a bad mom and that he had to take it from here. Then Odd and the kids slept in our bed for the rest of the night while I continued the night by myself in the single bed in Sally’s room. I felt so ashamed. Screaming at my own baby, that’s hitting rock bottom.

I know how to cope with situations like this. I’m supposed to leave the room and breathe my way through it and convince myself that not sleeping doesn’t equal dying. But seeing Odd having a good nights sleep next to me in combination with the lousy sleeping pattern I’ve experienced for a period of time now was just too much.

The fact that I had to leave the house early in the morning, leaving me no cozy-time with Sally, made the whole thing even worse. Feels like my guilty conscience has turned into a demon. I know I shouldn’t worry too much. I’m no more than human, but still. I’m ashamed of my behavior. Now it’s time for this super-mom to go back to work…
