I got very positive responses on my friends-post suggestion, fun! Keep your eyes open January 3rd, planning on posting it then. I’m thinking one category for what city you live in and one for maternity leave. Exciting! Wondering if Odd and I should start looking for a family with small children we can hang out with here on Lidingö. Right now we don’t know anyone and it’s always fun to plan spontaneous play-dates in the park.

Speaking of parks – that’s something we’re exploring at the moment. Today we took a walk in a ”new” direction and found…

…an amazing playground by a beach! The area is called Kottlasjön, beautiful surroundings. We tried out the little jungle gym and checked the ice to see how thick it was. I don’t think I’ll dare to go ice skating, but I’d love to go for a swim here when it gets warmer. It also looked as if you can walk around the lake, at least on one side. Maybe this is my new running route?

Now we’re going to ICA for some grocery shopping. We’re hosting a New Year’s dinner at our place so we’ve got a long list to check off. Need to get everything for our menus – one for adults and one for the kids. Time to recharge our batteries from the Christmas celebration, but I’m very excited! We’re probably getting rid of our Christmas tree before Thursday too, it doesn’t do much for the atmosphere anymore and it also eats up a lot of space.
