Ingen perfektionism

Men nope, mitt i prick.

Going shopping for New Year’s with two tired children at 4 in the afternoon really is a bad idea. And yet you don’t start avoiding those chaotic afternoon-hours. One of us could just as well go shopping later this evening or tomorrow. But nope, 4 was the time. It wasn’t that bad though, thank god… Gillis likes sitting in the trolley-car and Sally is pretty satisfied as long as she’s included in whatever is going on:Tada..! Ready for three families on Thursday. It’s a bit ambitious of us to squeeze in both Christmas celebration and New Year’s at our place since we moved in just two weeks ago, but that’s just so typical of us.

If I would’ve been more of a perfectionist I don’t think it would’ve worked out because of all the planning and fixing needed. I mean, buy champagne, wine and cook is not that much of a struggle, but if you really dive into all the details things could get out of hand. Luckily I’m not the type of person pinteresting my table setting or how to fold my napkins.

The kids are in bed now and I’m about to go through e-mails and take a look at this year’s placements. I haven’t checked my funds or stocks for three months so I’m excited, curious to see what happened. I’m throwing an eye on the children’s funds too. I’m planning to write an investment-post further on about my investment goals for 2016 – both my private ones and for my company Löwengrip Invest 🙂
