I know I’m not the only one in Stockholm giving you an update on this but… It’s SNOWING! We had dinner at our place tonight together with Sheila and her family and when we were about to sit down we looked out the window and saw the nice surprise. When Sheila and her company were about to leave it was actually bed time, but I couldn’t let Gillis miss out on this so we put on his shoes and went outside to experience the first snow of the year. Sheer happiness! Way more fun to live in a house these moments. When we lived in the apartment at Kungsholmen we just watched the snow from the window. I’m hoping the temperature stays below zero tomorrow so we can build a snowman or go sled riding. There’s no better way to spend your time the days after Christmas.

Odd cooked pasta bolognese, much appreciated both by us grown ups and the kids (they had their own children’s table). Odd also baked his own bread to dip in olive oil. Divine.

Don’t know which one of us were happier, Aline, Gillis or myself. Judging by the footsteps in the snow I’d vote for me… I’m so happy Gillis got to experience this – the first snow now when we’re living in a house. I’ll never forget this. I’ll go looking for my thermo pants in the garage now so I’m ready for tomorrow, keeping my fingers crossed…
